I glance outside
I glance outside and notice, it's a warm and sunny day
The perfect time for holding hands, a walk along the bay.
For sharing picnics in the woods and paddling in a stream
For dancing in the balmy eve, a midsummer night's dream
And now I glance outside again, a cool refreshing rain
Is forming glistening pools and streams upon my window pane.
And now it is the perfect time to hold you in my arms
We'll listen by the fire as the rain beats like our hearts.
Now when I glance outside I see a shining crystal snow,
is settling upon the land, and with it my heart glows.
For now it's time to wrap up warm against the winter chills
